Roomy, Athletic, and Road-Ready: the 2019 Honda CR-V

If you love the 2018 Honda Pilot but want a smaller crosser, you’ll probably be attracted to the 2019 Honda CR-V. A recent arrival at our Wilkes-Barre, PA Honda dealership, the new Honda CR-V has been getting a lot of attention from drivers with a wide array of lifestyles.

Currently in its fifth generation, the Honda CR-V is offered in the following trims for the 2019 model year: LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring. The new Honda CR-V is eligible for two engines. The base trim is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. The higher trims are motivated by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque.

Just because the LX is the base trim, it doesn’t mean the vehicle doesn’t have an impressive list of standard features. A rearview camera, a 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth™ connectivity, and dual USB ports are a few of the features on the LX model.

While the features on the base trim are impressive, the EX trim boasts an even longer list of sought-after standard features. On the EX trim you’ll find a sunroof, fog lights, privacy glass and USB ports in the rear, a larger touchscreen, Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, and an upgraded rearview camera.

We’re proud to tell you that the 2019 Honda CR-V comes with some laudable advanced safety features as standard equipment beginning with the EX model. These features include adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, a blind spot monitor that has a rear cross-traffic alert, lane keeping assist, and a forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking system.
