If you’re a member of the military or you’ve recently left the armed forces, we’re thrilled to tell you that you may qualify for our Military Appreciation Offer. Our Military Appreciation Offer gives you $500 that can be applied toward the purchase or lease of an eligible Honda vehicle such as the 2016 Honda Fit. We’re also excited to tell you that our Military Appreciation Offer is extended to the spouses of people in the military as well as the husbands and wives of those who’ve recently separated from the armed forces.
Our Military Appreciation Offer is available to the following individuals:
- Active duty military members and their spouses
- Active duty military ready reserves and their husbands and wives
- Military veterans who are within 180 days of their separation of service and their spouses
- People who’ve retired from the U.S. Military
- Spouses of military retirees who are within 180 days of their separation from active duty
To qualify for our Military Appreciation Offer, you’ll need to provide a leave and earnings statement as proof of your military status. If you’re a spouse of a military member, veteran, or retiree, you’ll need to provide a copy of your leave and earnings statement as well as your military ID. You must also receive credit approval from Honda Financial Services (HFS) ?.*
If you qualify for our Military Appreciation Offer and decide to lease an eligible automobile, $500 will be applied to the cap cost of the vehicle you want. This means your monthly payment and the amount you’ll owe at your lease signing will be calculated after we factor in the $500 price reduction. If you choose to buy an eligible Honda car instead, our $500 Military Appreciation Offer will be applied to your down payment.
